Applications are invited for a 1-year Research Associate/Assistant position in the Networked Systems Research Laboratory (netlab) at the School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow.

The post is funded through the Huawei Innovation Research Programme to work on the project Distributed Swarm Intelligence for Network Control, and funding is available for 12 months in the first instance:

We are looking for candidates with strong interests and background in networked systems and distributed algorithms (especially bio-inspired, swarm-intelligence algorithms), and how they can be exploited to improve control and  performance of future, virtualised and software-defined networks.

Salary (depending on qualifications): £28,098 to £38,833 per annum
